Privacy

Prayer Circles — including recipient names, burdens, cards, voice, replies, and activity — are private by link. They are not posted to the Community Prayer Wall or indexed by search engines. Only people with the links you share can open the relevant circle view.

The Community Prayer Wall is public. Nothing moves there automatically from a Prayer Circle or from the prayer generator. When you choose Share anonymously, Sanctum first shows the exact generalized text that would become public. It is stored only after you confirm that preview. The public checks remove or reject names, hospitals, contact details, exact dates, and identifying medical details.

Public posts do not display your name or a public profile. They can still be read and shared by anyone. To limit spam and abuse, Sanctum may process network and device signals and store one-way hashed identifiers, content hashes, report records, and moderation status. Public analytics record allowlisted event categories, not prayer text.

We do not sell or rent prayers and burdens to advertisers, and Sanctum does not use them to train its own AI models. When you choose an AI feature, the relevant text or voice is processed by the provider needed to return that feature.

To run the product, some content is processed by trusted third-party providers acting on our behalf:

• AI text(Google Gemini) — when you use “Help me write,” “Polish,” Scripture lookup, public prayer drafting, or optional public generalization, the relevant text is sent to the provider to return suggested wording.
• AI voice (ElevenLabs) — if you choose an AI opening voice, the words to be read aloud are sent to the voice provider to generate audio.
• Hosting, data & email (Vercel, Supabase, Resend) — to run the site, store Prayer Circles and generalized public posts, and send requested activity notifications.
• Payments (Stripe) — if you upgrade. We never see or store your card details.

Publishing a public post or response gives that browser a private deletion token. Keep it if you may want to remove the content later; deleting a public post also removes its response thread. Anyone can report public content. Reports may hide it for moderation, and Sanctum may remove content that is unsafe, identifying, unlawful, or outside the purpose of the wall.

Free Prayer Circles are kept for about 30 days and then archived after notice; the current archive step is not an immediate hard deletion. A paid keepsake is retained while that keepsake service is provided. Public prayers currently remain until the author deletes them with the deletion token or Sanctum removes them through moderation; we do not promise permanent public storage. Operational logs and backups may persist for a limited period. You can ask us to delete a circle or other associated data through the feedback page.

Shareable prayer images are rendered from generalized text and verified catalog Scripture. The image response is marked private and no-store and is returned as a download; Sanctum does not add that generated image to a public gallery.

Signing in (Google) is optional. It lets you keep and recover your prayer circles across devices. You can create, send, receive, and contribute to circles without an account.
